Risk policy & Portfolio X-ray
Inspect exposure limits and risks shared across positions.
Before you begin: Saving limits changes your sandbox policy. Correlation views depend on their supplied sample.
How to use it
- Open Portfolio’s Risk policy and inspect current limits.
- Compare gross exposure, leverage ceiling, daily loss and entry-pause status.
- Inspect available exposure/X-ray context; consider correlated positions together.
- Revise a teaching plan that breaches a limit; save policy changes only deliberately.
Worked example and expected outcome
Teaching case: three long positions share the same adverse market move.
This is a fixed teaching example, not a current quote, personal account result or trade recommendation.
Check your understanding
Would counting three positions alone prove diversification?
If it does not work
When a sensitivity input is missing, record the gap; use the Academy risk fixture for practice.
