Portfolio: trade ledger
Read simulated fills and their costs in the Portfolio ledger.
Before you begin: The ledger may show seeded paper history or the selected paper mode. Exporting creates a file; the tutorial itself does not export.
How to use it
- Open Portfolio and choose Trades.
- Read the simulated-fills label and inspect the market, side, entry and exit.
- Compare gross P&L with fees, funding and the reported net result.
- Use the export control only if you intend to create a copy of the ledger.
Worked example and expected outcome
Teaching case: a profitable gross move becomes a net loss after modeled costs.
This is a fixed teaching example, not a current quote, personal account result or trade recommendation.
Check your understanding
Which cost changed the gross result, and does this ledger claim a live exchange fill?
If it does not work
If there are no trades, use the isolated Academy paper case; an empty ledger is not proof of trading success or failure.
