How to use SuperQuant
Step-by-step guides, in the order you'll need them.
21 walkthroughs covering every major workflow, from creating your account to verifying a research capsule, plus troubleshooting. Read top to bottom on day one, or jump to what you need.
01Create your account and start the trial
You need an email address and a password. No card, no exchange account and no wallet to begin.
- Go to Create account, enter your email and a password, and submit. Keep the password in a password manager.
- You land on Workspace access. Under Start with Telegram, press Connect Telegram.
- Telegram opens our bot. Press Start, then ✅ Confirm link. We verify your Telegram account without asking for your phone number.
- Back on the access page your 7-day free trial is active. Press Continue to workspace →.
- Before day 7, read Access & plans so you know how to keep access afterwards.
One trial per Telegram account. Switching email, unlinking or deleting the account gives back only the time that was left on the original trial.
02Find your way around the workspace
The left sidebar holds the main pages, in the order most people use them. Tools sit underneath.
- Sidebar: Radar, Today, News, Tokens, Research Lab, Portfolio, Library, Trader Academy and Feature guides. Under Tools: Quant, Data sources and Settings.
- Mode selector in the top bar: Guided explains everything, Builder shows more fields, Pro shows every setting and the Strategy JSON.
- Search anything with Ctrl K (⌘ K on Mac). Type a ticker or Solana mint to open its Asset Hub, or a question for Quant.
- The feed status pill tells you if you're on live market data, a fallback or an offline simulated copy.
- The bell holds your research inbox. Each page has a Learn this feature strip that opens its guide.
03Follow assets on Radar
Radar is your home screen. One follow feeds every watchlist, lens and alert in SuperQuant, on the web and in Telegram.
- Open Radar (the first sidebar item).
- Search a ticker (for example
SOLorBTC) or paste a Solana mint, then press Open. - Press Follow. The asset joins your perps watchlist and, if it has a Solana mint, your token watches too.
- Read the confluence badge: Aligned ↑, Aligned ↓, Lenses disagree, No clear lean or Not enough evidence.
- If a banner says an asset is followed in one place but not another, press Sync everything.
- Scroll the feed below for Quant, Alert, Whale, On-chain and TA items about the assets you follow.
Confluence is observed agreement between independent lenses, not a calibrated win probability. Use it to decide what to look at, not what to trade.
04Read an asset in the Asset Hub
The Hub puts every lens for one asset on a single page.
- Open it by clicking an asset on Radar, a token on the Tokens page, or by typing the ticker in Ctrl K.
- Start with the confluence verdict and the per-lens bars: which lenses lean up, which lean down, which have no data.
- Check each lens's as-of time. Old data is labelled, never hidden.
- Read the market block (mark price, funding, open interest), then top traders, the TA read, Solana flow and news.
- Look for the evidence that argues against the read before you form a view. Then follow, unfollow, or open the asset in the Lab.
05Use Today and the market brief
Today is the quick morning check: four major markets and the brief.
- Open Today and pick a market card (BTC, ETH, SOL or HYPE).
- Check the chart's data label: LIVE, BINANCE fallback, IMPORTED or SIMULATED.
- Switch the range (7D, 30D, 90D) and between line and candle views.
- Read the Market brief panel: bias, confidence and score, 24h move, funding and open interest. It's the same brief as
/outlookin Telegram. - Press Analyse live market for a TA read, Investigate with Quant to ask questions, or Open in Lab to test an idea.
06Follow the news and the economic calendar
News is filtered to what could change a research question, with the US macro calendar on top.
- Open News. The economic calendar sits at the top: CPI, PPI, payrolls, JOLTS, PCE, GDP and FOMC days.
- Pick a window (7, 30 or 90 days) and switch on high-attention only to cut it to the big releases.
- Press Add calendar reminder to download an .ics file with alarms for your own calendar.
- Below it, choose a filter: Latest, Unreviewed, My watchlist or Saved, or search.
- Open a story, check its source and time, then save it or capture a Diary pre-decision. In Telegram:
/news SOL.
Check Sources for feed health. A quiet feed is reported as such and never treated as proof that nothing happened.
07Read a technical-analysis receipt
Every TA read is stored as a frozen receipt, so you can check later how it played out.
- Ask for a read: Analyse live market on Today, the TA lens in the Asset Hub, or
/ta SOLin Telegram. - Pick a style if you want one: scalp (15m + 1h), swing (4h + 1d, the default) or position (1d).
- Read the levels, the chart and the narrative. Add context with funding, orderbook, sentiment, positioning or MACD.
- Refining a read creates a new receipt; the original never changes.
- Come back after 24h, 72h or 7 days to see how the read was graded.
You get 30 TA reads per day. The numbers are computed by code; the language model only writes the explanation.
08Run your first backtest
Let's test a simple trend idea on BTC with costs included.
- Open Library → Strategy recipes, pick a momentum recipe and press Use recipe. Or ask Quant: "Build a BTC 20/50 trend strategy with a 2% stop."
- In the Research Lab → Workbench, choose the dataset (built-in demo data, Hyperliquid, Binance or your CSV).
- Adjust a rule, for example the fast and slow moving-average lengths or the stop.
- Press Run backtest.
- Read Overview (return, drawdown, costs), then the Trade ledger for every fill, then Evidence for data and cost assumptions.
- Save the Playbook version so you can compare it with the next change.
Know the model. Hourly candles, isolated margin, modeled fees, slippage and funding, and a simplified liquidation check. No order book, partial fills or auto-deleveraging. Past and simulated results don't guarantee future returns.
09Import your own data
The Lab ships with demo data for BTC, ETH, SOL and HYPE perps. You can also load public history or your own file.
- Open Tools → Data sources.
- Choose a read-only fetch from Hyperliquid or Binance USDⓈ-M, or import a CSV.
- A CSV needs contiguous hourly bars: at least 60 and at most 50,000 rows, up to 15 MB.
- SuperQuant validates the file and tells you about gaps before you can run on it.
- Pick the dataset in the Research Lab. Every chart and result is labelled with its source.
10Try to disprove it
A good-looking backtest is a starting point, not a conclusion.
- After a run, press Try to disprove it to open the Disproof Desk.
- First, record what you expect the checks to reveal and what result would make you revise the Playbook, then press Freeze and run diagnostics.
- Compare the nine stress diagnostics with the Baseline row: higher execution costs, perturbed parameters, the last 30% of history, removing the 3 best trades, rolling walk-forward windows, bootstrap trade-order risk, a cost fragility map, a parameter neighborhood and OHLC intrabar path sensitivity. Some report when there is not enough data.
- Pay most attention to cost sensitivity and parameter fragility: does a small change break the result?
- If you want to compare two variants fairly, use Experiments to preregister a paired test before running it.
- Write down what would make you abandon the idea. Then test that.
11Freeze a Time Capsule and verify it
A Strategy Time Capsule commits your plan before the next test, so you can later prove it wasn't edited after you saw the results.
- Before testing on new data, freeze a Strategy Time Capsule (or a preregistered portfolio test) from the Lab.
- SuperQuant records a salted hash of the capsule as a public receipt. The contents stay with you.
- Export the capsule JSON from the capsule or portfolio evidence view.
- Anyone can open /capsule-verify, choose the exported file, add the receipt ID and press Verify capsule.
- The hash is recomputed in the browser and compared with the receipt. The file is never uploaded.
A match shows the export matches the recorded digest. It is not an independent timestamp authority and cannot prove the idea came before an earlier test.
12Place your first paper trade
Paper trading lets you rehearse execution and risk with simulated money.
- Open Portfolio → Positions and confirm you're in the paper sandbox.
- Open the order ticket. Choose the market, side, size and leverage, and set a stop.
- Check the notional, leverage and stop warnings before you submit.
- Advance the clock (1h or 24h), or let live hours close the position.
- Review the Trade ledger and write a Journal note: what you planned, what happened, what you'd change.
13Understand leverage in the Leverage Lab
See what leverage does to a position before it does it to your account.
- Open the Leverage Lab from the Academy, the Ctrl K palette or the order ticket.
- Choose fixed notional (same position size, less collateral) or fixed collateral (same money, bigger position).
- Move the leverage slider from 1× to 20× and watch P&L, fees, funding and the liquidation line change.
- Run the mock experiment over three days of real history and compare outcomes side by side.
14Research a Solana token
The Tokens page is for Solana spot tokens: price, liquidity, holders, security and swap flow.
- Open Tokens, type a symbol or paste a mint, then press Look up.
- Confirm the mint address is the one you expect (copy it with one click).
- Check liquidity, holders and the security flags before anything else.
- Pick a chart interval, then filter buyers / sellers / net by time window and minimum trade size.
- Press Follow to track it, and open it in the Asset Hub to see it next to the other lenses. In Telegram:
/token JUP,/track JUP.
15Follow Hyperliquid whales
Whale intelligence lives mainly in Telegram, with the Whale Board as a visual companion.
- Link Telegram (see step 1), then send
/whales on. - Get oriented:
/whales topfor the leaderboard,/whales net BTCfor net positioning,/whales liq BTCfor liquidation clusters. - Open a trader's scorecard with
/whales trader #7and follow them with/whales follow #7. - Tune the noise:
/whales min 500k,/whales coins BTC ETH,/whales style swing,/whales minhit 55. - Try a paper copy:
/whales copy #12 10k, then/whales copiesto see how it's doing. - Open
/whales boardfor the Leaders, Positioning and Liquidations tabs.
How the list is chosen: vault accounts are excluded; the rest need at least $5M of 30-day volume, $1M of 7-day volume, a $100k account and turnover under 1,500×, and are ranked by 30-day profit. The top 100 are re-ranked every six hours and checked about once a minute. Changes under $100k, and same-direction resizes under 25%, are not recorded as moves.
How the alerts are built: the liquidation radar watches positions of at least $5M and alerts when the mid price comes within 5% of the venue's estimated liquidation price; it re-arms only after the distance widens past 7%, with a six-hour cooldown per position. Positioning shifts compare the tracked accounts' net positioning with 1 and 4 hours earlier: a flip (the net side changes, with at least $5M net before and after and $10M gross), a surge (a net change of at least $25M, or of $10M that is at least 30% of gross positioning) or a crowd add (six or more top-20 traders adding in the same direction within an hour). A trader's 24-hour hit rate is shown once 10 of their moves have been measured, and detected moves are kept for 90 days. Paper copies are simulated: each is sized to the trader's account at its first check, copied accounts are checked about every two minutes, every fill uses the mid price at that check plus a 0.045% taker fee and 0.05% slippage, trades under $10 or 0.2% of the copy's capital are skipped (a full close always goes through), and no real orders are placed. The public whale channel posts with a one-hour delay.
Defaults and tiers: alerts start at changes of at least $1M by any of the top 100, up to 24 whale alerts a day, and /whales min, top and limit change that. A real-time alert older than 30 minutes when it is due to be sent is dropped (2 hours for positioning shifts and against-you alerts). Free accounts get the daily Whale Wrap, on by default, plus /whales top and /whales net. Holder (during the trial, or with a wallet that passes the access gate) adds real-time moves, the liquidation radar, positioning shifts, entry zones, scorecards, 5 followed wallets and 3 paper copies. Pro (currently $500 or more of $STONKB) adds resting orders, against-you alerts, smart money versus the crowd, 20 follows and 10 paper copies.
These are third-party positions, not advice. Each top-trader move is measured at +1h, +24h and +7d from the price when it was detected, so you can judge which traders are worth following. Some whale features depend on your tier.
New to whale data? Read the Hyperliquid whale-tracking series on what these alerts can and cannot tell you.
16Set alerts
Alerts are created in Telegram, in plain English or with commands.
- Type what you want: "Tell me when BTC is above $70,000." The bot shows a preview; confirm it.
- Or use a command:
/alert ETH price crosses-above 3000,/alert SOL funding above 0.01%/h,/alert BTC oi-change crosses-above 5% over 1h. - Combine two conditions:
/alert BTC price above 70000 and funding below 0%/h. - List and manage alerts with
/alerts. Save a rule as a template and apply it to other assets. - Rate alerts 👍 or 👎 so delivery learns what's useful. Set quiet hours and a digest with
/setup.
17Ask Quant for help
Quant is the assistant built into the workspace. It drafts, explains and points you to the right tool, and nothing runs until you press a button.
- Press Ctrl K (⌘ K on Mac) or choose Quant under Tools.
- Describe an idea in plain English, for example "Build a BTC 20/50 trend strategy with a 2% stop."
- Review the proposed Playbook: rules, market, stop and costs.
- Press the button to open it in the Research Lab, then run and challenge it yourself.
- Ask for a TA read ("TA SOL") or an Academy explanation the same way. Optional model chat is only used after you consent.
The built-in Quant is rule-based, not a general AI. It helps you set up research; it does not make decisions for you.
18Keep a Diary Passport
Your diary compares what you planned with what you did, so patterns become visible.
- Capture a pre-decision entry when something catches your eye in News or the Lab.
- Write what you expect, why, and how you feel about it.
- After the outcome, add a review entry. Be honest about what was luck.
- Every few weeks, open the pattern review. It shows recurring patterns along with counterexamples.
- Back it up with an encrypted Diary Passport backup if you want it off this browser.
19Learn with the Trader Academy
Six stages, 24 lessons, exams and practice. Open to every signed-in user, no holdings required.
- Open Trader Academy in the sidebar, or go to /academy.
- Start with stage 1, Get comfortable with SuperQuant, then Understand perpetuals, Control risk and execution, Read the app's technical analysis, Make an app-assisted decision and Build an advanced research process.
- Read the lessons, then take the five-question exam. You pass at 80% with every critical question correct.
- Complete the practical exercise inside the app to unlock the next stage.
- Finish with the capstone: three decide-before-reveal cases. Stuck? Press Ask Quant to explain.
20Protect and back up your work
Your workspace lives in your browser by default. Backups are optional and encrypted.
- Open Settings → Account & privacy.
- Under Encrypted full workspace backup, choose a passphrase only you know and upload. The server stores ciphertext only.
- Optionally turn on automatic uploads. They need an open browser session and never restore or merge on their own.
- To move devices, sign in there and restore the backup with your passphrase.
- Review Account activity and Account security from time to time.
SuperQuant cannot recover your passphrase. Lose it and the backup can't be opened. Store it in a password manager.
21Send feedback
Found a bug or have an idea? Tell us from inside the app.
- Click the Feedback tab on the right edge of the workspace.
- Choose bug, improvement or idea and describe it.
- Leave the optional context attached so we can reproduce it.
- Check back in the same panel: it shows the status of your last five reports.
22Troubleshooting
The most common snags and how to get past them.
I was sent to the Workspace access page.
Your trial hasn't started or has ended. Link Telegram to start the trial, or link a qualifying Jupiter Wallet. The Academy at /academy stays open either way.
"No Jupiter Wallet was found in this browser."
Install the Jupiter Wallet extension or open the page in the Jupiter Mobile app's browser, then reload. If Jupiter is set to "Connect as Phantom", turn that off for this site.
My access paused after it was working.
Holdings are re-checked every few hours. If your $STONKB balance or JUP stake dropped below the requirement, top it up and press Check holdings again.
A chart says SIMULATED or the feed pill says offline.
Live data couldn't be reached, so SuperQuant shows a labelled fallback. Results on simulated data are for learning the tool, not for conclusions.
The bot doesn't answer my commands.
Make sure you're in a private chat with the bot and that your account is linked (/status). Groups only work through /teamroom. If you paused alerts, send /resume.
My CSV import was rejected.
It needs contiguous hourly bars, at least 60 and at most 50,000 rows, under 15 MB. Gaps or mixed intervals fail validation.
I forgot my password.
Password-reset email isn't switched on yet. If your account is linked to Telegram you can use Continue with Telegram on the sign-in page; otherwise use the Feedback tab or contact us on X.
Keep going
Follow along in the app.
Open these guides in one tab and SuperQuant in another. Most people finish steps 1 to 10 in their first session.
