R-multiple calculator
Convert closed trades into multiples of their planned risk and see average R, win rate and the spread of outcomes.
Use the free toolR-multiple calculator
Express each closed trade as a multiple of its planned risk. One line per trade: an R value, or side, entry, stop and exit (with units and fees if you have them).
Turn on JavaScript to calculate. Nothing you type is sent to SuperQuant.
Math. R = (side × (exit − entry) × units − fees) ÷ (|entry − stop| × units). Average R is the expectancy in risk units. The t-statistic = average ÷ (standard deviation ÷ √n) describes this sample only; it does not establish a future edge.
Keep planned assumptions separate from later observations. Mark missing information as unknown instead of zero. Templates organize research; they do not recommend a trade or document a verified live fill.
