Choose the preset that matches the asset

The public calculator offers Hyperliquid maintenance-margin presets grouped by maximum leverage. Choose the preset that fits the asset’s current maximum in Hyperliquid’s live interface. Asset limits and margin tiers can change, so verify them before using an estimate.

Compare the estimate with a planned stop

Enter an entry price, leverage and direction, then add a planned stop if useful. The result estimates an isolated liquidation threshold under the selected maintenance-margin assumption and shows the distance to the stop. A displayed buffer is only a comparison of inputs; it does not make a position safe or guarantee an exit.

Understand mark price and margin mode

Hyperliquid uses mark price for margining and liquidation, and that price can differ from the latest trade or book price. Cross-margin liquidation depends on account value and other cross positions. Funding, collateral changes and other positions can move a live threshold. This calculator does not read account state.

Use the official formula to understand differences

Hyperliquid’s liquidation formula uses available margin, position size and maintenance leverage. The required maintenance leverage can depend on the margin tier at the liquidation price. Review the official references below when comparing this simplified estimate with an account-specific position screen.

Try the workflow

  1. Open the calculator and choose the Hyperliquid preset that matches the asset’s current maximum leverage.
  2. Enter the entry price, leverage and position direction.
  3. Add a planned stop if you want to compare its distance with the isolated estimate.
  4. Check the current position screen for account-specific margin and mark-price details.

Open the liquidation calculator. Check workspace access and requirements.

Understand the limits

The estimate is not connected to Hyperliquid, a wallet or a live account. It does not model cross or portfolio margin, funding changes, mark-price movement, all margin tiers, fees or partial-liquidation behavior. Verify current asset limits and account-specific details before acting. SuperQuant does not submit or manage real orders.
