A Telegram signal bot is good at one thing: noticing that something changed and telling you quickly. It cannot know your account, your risk limits or whether you have already taken three losses today. The useful way to work with any signal bot is a fixed loop in which every message leads to a check, the check leads to a written plan or a decision to wait, and the plan ends in a record you can review later.

This guide lays out that loop, maps common signal types to a next step, and works one example with SuperQuant’s bot. The same loop applies to other bots; only the commands differ.

A warning before the workflow

Many Telegram channels sell “signals” with screenshots of winning trades. Treat promises of high or guaranteed returns, claims of little or no risk, requests for your exchange keys and pressure to act within minutes as red flags. A legitimate tool tells you what it observed and where the reading fails; it does not promise outcomes. SuperQuant’s technical reads methodology states its own boundary: “SuperQuant does not place exchange orders and does not hold exchange API keys.”

The loop: signal, check, plan, alert, review

  1. Signal. The bot reports a change: indicators lining up, an alert firing, positioning shifting.
  2. Check. Is the change real, and what disagrees with it?
  3. Plan. Where would the idea be wrong, and what size keeps that loss within your limit?
  4. Alert. Let the bot watch the price levels so that you do not have to watch the screen.
  5. Review. Record the decision, including “no trade”, and grade it later.

The rule of thumb for the whole loop: a signal means “look now”, never “act now”.

Map each signal to one next step

Signal you receive What it means Check Next step
Lenses aligned bullish or bearish Most independent lenses lean the same way Has the trigger already closed? Is funding crowded? Open the TA reading and set price watches
Alignment broke, or mixed Lenses now disagree Which lens changed and why Open the asset view
Lenses flipped Direction reversed Any plan built on the old reading is void Take a fresh TA reading
No clear lean or not enough evidence Nothing to act on — Wait; waiting is a decision
TA trigger not yet closed A setup, not a confirmation Confidence, data gaps Set price watches
TA trigger closed Confirmation on that timeframe Is the invalidation intact? Refresh, then plan size
Overbought or oversold zone Price is stretched Trend direction; distance from the average Open the full TA reading
Your own alert fired Your condition happened Why it fired; current reading Take a fresh TA reading

In SuperQuant’s bot those next steps are /ta SYMBOL, /asset SYMBOL, the 🔔 Price watches button on a TA card, and /radar for the followed list. The methodology describes them: “/asset SYMBOL opens one asset’s evidence. /radar lists followed assets, /radar add SYMBOL follows one, /radar on turns on proactive messages and /radar pulse 8,20 sets summary hours.” The TA signal guide explains each line of the card, and the Telegram bot page explains how to connect it.

Worked example: an aligned signal on SOL

The values below are invented.

Signal. The bot reports that SOL’s lenses are aligned bullish at $152.40. Three of four lenses lean up; the funding lens leans down because longs are paying. For this invented example, assume the hourly funding payments add up to 18.25% of notional over a year; it is an assumed input, not a quoted rate.

Check. A TA reading shows a neutral-bullish bias with medium confidence, a trigger of a four-hour close above 155.00 and an invalidation of a four-hour close below 145.00. Price is below the trigger, so this is a setup, not a confirmation.

Plan. Write the plan as if the trigger closes, using an invented $2,000 account and a 1% risk limit: 2,000 × 0.01 = 20 dollars.

Item Value
Condition to act Only after a four-hour close above 155.00
Where the idea is wrong A four-hour close below 145.00
Distance if entered at 155.00 155 − 145 = 10 dollars per SOL
Size from risk 2 SOL, which is 310 dollars of notional
Funding check about 0.05% of notional a day
risk budget to position quantityA simplified linear contract example: risk budget divided by entry-to-stop price distance determines the quantity, before fees, slippage, gaps, margin and venue-specific rules.price distance to stopEntryPlanned stopIllustrative modelQ = risk budget / ΔPBefore costs and uncertain execution · a stop price is not a guaranteed fill

Written out, the sizing is three steps. The risk budget is 2,000 × 0.01 = 20 dollars. The distance from entry to invalidation is 155 − 145 = 10 dollars per SOL, so the size is 20 ÷ 10 = 2 SOL, which is 2 × 155 = 310 dollars of notional. Hyperliquid’s funding page states that “The funding rate on Hyperliquid is paid every hour.” The funding check spreads that assumed yearly total evenly across days: 18.25% ÷ 365 = 0.05% of notional a day, or about 310 × 0.0005 = 0.155 dollars a day on this position. The 1% risk limit is this example’s assumption, not a rule; write your own limit down before the signal arrives. Fees, slippage and gaps add to the loss, so the real size should be slightly smaller than the clean division; the position sizing guide shows how to include them.

Alert. Tap 🔔 Price watches on the TA card. The methodology states that the button “saves one-time price alerts at the trigger and invalidation prices”. Its confirmation reads: “A price crossing is an early warning; candle-close confirmation is still required.” Whether the four-hour candle closed beyond the level still has to be checked.

Review. Record the view with /decide SOL long 55%, or /decide SOL flat for a deliberate “no trade”. The methodology states that /decide “records a timestamped prospective decision against the last hourly close, places no trade and is graded after 24 hours”, and that “/review shows the rolling seven-day evidence review.”

Set up once

Follow the assets you care about with /radar add SOL, turn on proactive messages with /radar on, and choose summary times with /radar pulse 8,20. The methodology notes that “/timezone Area/City, for example /timezone Asia/Manila, sets the local time the bot uses.” On a TA card, ★ Save default “stores the symbol, style, timeframes and context options that a plain /ta then uses.”

A two-minute daily routine

Minute Action Look for
0:00 /outlook The latest daily market brief
0:30 /radar New agreement or new disagreement
1:00 /setups Overbought and oversold readings on your watchlist
1:30 /ta on the one coin that stands out Trigger, invalidation, then price watches

Then close the app. The alerts will reach you when a level matters.

What the bot cannot do

It cannot decide for you, guarantee a fill, or know whether today is a day you should not trade at all. Signals describe observed conditions in public data. Keep your own written risk limits, and treat every message as the start of a check. Educational material only; all prices, sizes and the account above are invented.
