SuperQuant feature tutorial · fixed teaching example
Paper trading account
Rehearse an order and inspect modeled fills and costs.
Before you begin: The Portfolio is a seeded historical sandbox. Orders and clock advances change your paper history.
How to use it
- Open Portfolio and read the PAPER label and simulation time.
- Open Paper trade deliberately and inspect direction, notional, leverage and exits.
- Submit only when you intend that paper order; inspect Positions and Trade ledger.
- Advance the simulated clock deliberately and reconcile fees, funding and net result.
Worked example and expected outcome
Teaching case: a stop exits under the simulator’s fill assumptions and costs reduce net result.
This is a fixed teaching example, not a current quote, personal account result or trade recommendation.
Check your understanding
Can you distinguish an order instruction from a modeled fill?
If it does not work
