# Perpetual funding settlement audit worksheet

> Blank research record. It does not fetch rates, calculate a venue's contract payment, establish account eligibility or recommend a trade. Keep API keys, account identifiers and private statements out of shared copies.

## 1. Name the market and rule

- Venue, jurisdiction and account or margin mode:
- Exact symbol, contract type, multiplier and quote / settlement currencies:
- Official contract and funding-rule URLs:
- Source access date (UTC) and rule version or archived copy:
- Funding interval and scheduled event times, in UTC:
- Rule for adjusting the interval or rate caps:
- Raw rate field name, definition, unit, interval basis and sign convention:
- Notional conversion price and rounding / precision rule:
- Eligibility snapshot or position rule, including boundary timing:

## 2. Preserve one row per funding event

| Event UTC | Raw rate | Rate unit / interval | Raw source field | Position side | Size / multiplier | Valuation price and type | Event notional | Eligible? | Status: posted / confirmed zero / unknown | Account payment and currency | Source record |
|---|---:|---|---|---|---:|---|---:|---|---|---:|---|
| | | | | | | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | | | | | | |

Keep the raw source value unchanged. A missing history row is not proof of a zero payment. Record a confirmed zero only when the applicable venue or account record supports it. State how partial fills, position changes and settlement-window timing were handled.

## 3. Reconcile the model separately

- Source's payment formula, transcribed with its sign convention:
- Formula used in this research and why it matches this exact contract:
- Event notional and rate converted to the formula's required units:
- Expected payment for each event:
- Account-reported debit or credit for each event:
- Difference, currency conversion, fees or rounding that explain a mismatch:
- Events that remain missing, delayed, unverified or otherwise unresolved:

Do not infer a payment from candle frequency or multiply an annualized headline by elapsed hours unless the venue defines that conversion and the assumptions hold. Apply the exact instrument formula; linear, inverse, quanto or multipliers may require different arithmetic.

## 4. Review the evidence before using it

- [ ] The rule belongs to the named contract and account.
- [ ] UTC event times, rate interval, units and raw sign are preserved.
- [ ] Position eligibility and event notional basis are documented.
- [ ] Historical rate observations are distinguished from account payments.
- [ ] Missing values remain unknown unless a zero is evidenced.
- [ ] Price P&L, fees, spread, slippage, borrow and funding are separate.
- [ ] Model-versus-account differences and any re-used data are recorded.
